A boat ride through turquoise Martvili Canyon and the lit up halls of Prometheus Cave, Georgia's largest cave, in one long day from Tbilisi.
We leave at 7:00 from the old Meidan Square in Tbilisi. The drive toward Kutaisi takes from 4 to 4.5 hours, with a stop on the way: restroom, coffee, a shop.
In Martvili the entry ticket is 40 ₾ and the boat ride through the canyon is 30 ₾, 70 ₾ in total. We spend about 2 hours in the canyon: a boat ride on turquoise water between sheer cliffs and waterfalls.
Next we drive to Prometheus Cave, from 1.5 to 2 hours, 85 km. Entry to the cave is 25 ₾. We spend from 1.5 to 2 hours among lit up halls, stalactites and an underground lake.
On the way back we stop at a restaurant, then continue to Tbilisi. We return by 21:00.
